Turkish Seed Association (TÜRKTOB); It is a professional organization in the nature of a public institution with legal personality, established with the Law No. 5553 on Seed Production, which was prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock) and entered into force after being accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) in December 2006.The purpose of establishment; To facilitate the professional activities by providing professional solidarity between the real or legal persons operating in the sector with the development of the seed sector, to ensure the protection of the economic and social rights of those engaged in seed production, and to fulfill the duties given by the legislation.Within TÜRKTOB, Plant Breeders Sub-Association (BİSAB), Seedling Producers Sub-Association (FÜAB), Seedling Producers Sub-Association (FİDEBİRLİK), Ornamental Plants Producers Sub-Association (SUSBIR), Seed Distributors Sub-Association (TODAB), Seed Industrialists and Producers Sub-Association ( TSÜAB), Seed Growers Sub-Association (TYAB).Sub-Unions that complete their establishment; They have united under the umbrella of the Turkish Seed Growers Union (TÜRKTOB), which is a public institution with legal personality, in order to ensure cooperation and solidarity among themselves, to develop the seed sector, to ensure professional solidarity among those operating in the sector, and to fulfill the duties given by the legislation.The Turkish Seed Association (TÜRKTOB) is the highest establishment of the seed sector in our country with the authorities granted by law.
